"That was a big time for him delivering, and it's been fantastic for him to keep gaining experience," Maye commented on the rookie. "He aims to be excellent."
Justin Fields found Metchie late in the third period to close the gap for the Jets but Andy Borregales booted a pair of field goals in the final period as the home side closed out the victory
